1. Introduction to Facilities Management (FM3.01)
This unit provides a comprehensive overview of facilities management and its role in organisations. Key topics include:

The role of facilities management in meeting end-user requirements, reducing costs, maintaining business continuity, and supporting corporate social responsibility (CSR) or Environmental Social Governance (ESG).

Typical responsibilities delegated to facilities management, including mechanical/electrical asset maintenance, support services, and risk management.

Different service delivery models, including in-house, outsourced, and total facilities management (TFM), as well as their advantages and disadvantages.

The range of facilities management roles, from strategic to operational, and the key management functions involved.

The principles and benefits of effective communication, including active listening and appropriate communication methods.
2. Customer and Stakeholder Relations in Facilities Management (FM3.03)
This unit focuses on managing relationships with customers and stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of facilities services. Key topics include:

Understanding the information requirements of different groups and ensuring timely communication to support decision-making.
