Did you know that as an apprentice, you are entitled to a range of discounts, financial support, and benefits just like other students? Whether it’s saving money on your favourite brands, accessing government support, or reducing your living costs, we’ve got you covered! Here’s a breakdown of the amazing perks available to you:

1. Care Leaver Bursary

If you’re a care leaver aged 16–24, you could be eligible for a bursary of £3,000 to support you during your apprenticeship. This is a one-off payment provided by your training provider or employer.

2. NUS TOTUM Card: Discounts at the shops!

Apprentices are eligible for the TOTUM card, previously known as the NUS card. This student discount card offers savings on food, fashion, tech, travel, and more! You can also upgrade to TOTUM Pro for even more benefits.

How To Apply:

Sign up online at TOTUM and provide proof of your apprenticeship (e.g., enrolment confirmation or an ID from your training provider).

You will need to add us as the training provider: Dynamic Training UK Ltd. You will also be asked to upload a document to prove you are on an apprenticeship programme this can include:

• A screenshot of apprentice agreement or training plan (that can be found on your OneFile portal)

• A screenshot of Episode tab of your OneFile e-portfolio under CV and Other documents

3. Discounted Railcards

Save a third on train travel across the UK with a 16–25 Railcard or a 26–30 Railcard. Apprentices of any age can also apply for the Apprentice Oyster Card in London, which offers a 30% discount on travelcards and bus/tram passes.

How To Apply:

• For national railcards, visit: 16–25 Railcard or 26–30 Railcard.

• For the Apprentice Oyster Card, apply here: Apprentice Oyster Card.

To apply for either of these you will need;

• Your Unique Learner Number (ULN) that can be found on your training plan that is a downloadable document in OneFile under CV and Documents.

• UK Provider Reference Number (UKPRN) for Dynamic Training which is - 10031984

4. Free or Discounted Prescriptions

If you are on a low income, you may qualify for free prescriptions, dental care, and eye tests through the NHS Low Income Scheme.
